I am runnng HQ 4.2.0 b1260 and have a problem with getting the VIM plugin working....
I have created two platforms pointing to two vmware ESX 4.x hosts, using the VMware Vi3 Host plugin (Platform Type). The plugin successfully connects to the vmware host and can enumerate all the guests and resource pools, but gathers no metrics and shows all hosts and guests and resources as DOWN. I have confirmed that there are numerous parameters configured as metrics and indicators in the default monitoring.
I see no errors in the server or agent log, and running debug logging on agent didn't add anything obvious.
The vmware host is ESXi4.x
