Team,
We are using hq4.5 to monitor log file generated using log4j. The file has been setup and the log level to trace is Error.
* Does hq needs the service to be running continously or log file to be updated regulary ?
* What we are seeing is when our batch restart, it generates the alert like (Error generated *** xxxxx times ) but there are no any errors in the log file.
* Also when our batch runs first time in the morning ( when the blank new log file is getting created after rolling up ), it grep the first line of the log and flag this as error.
Any idea why ?
Sample Error Generated ( See the message level is info and this is first line of our log file )
DWH Batch services DEV has generated the following alert - DWB Batch services DEV - error message in the log DWH Batch services DEV Log (/opt/apps/dwh/dwhBatchServices/dev/rel/log/batchServicesDEV.log: 06/03 15:23:44.735 INFO [main] ENABLE_FLUSHING_OUTPUT_TO_FILE is = 1 (ApplicationContextImpl.java:83))
