Hi,
I am using Hyperic-HQ Open source. I would like an escalation scheme whereby it notifies a central mail box of the alert, and then, if not acknowledged or fixed within a set time, it then notifies a number of Hyperic Users.
This is easy, and I have this set up already. However...
The problem I have is that once the alert goes past the initial escalation action (i.e. nobody acknowledges the initial alert), the option to acknowledge the alert disappears from the Hyperic user interface.
Is there anything that I can do to stop it doing that? Either by configuring my escalation scheme in a different way or some config within Hyperic somewhere?
thanks in advance,
Phil
