We are running AIX 5.3, Multiple installs of Apache and WAS 6.1. I have installed using both Java 1.4 JRE,Java 1.5 JRE. The agent is installing and starts up successfully. The prototype is Autodiscovered in Hyperic HQ and we add it to inventory. However, after several minutes the tests all go red and no autodiscovery information is brought into Hyperic.
Review of the agent.log indicates that runtime autodiscovery for Websphere Admin 6.1, Apache httpd are all running, but no information is passing to Hyperic server.
We can telnet to the ip and port. We know that intial connection is successful. We are unable to collect any of the valuable monitoring information into Hyperic.
We do have this running fine on other AIX servers that are not running Apache or WAS 6.1. It runs fine on Oracle and LDAP servers just fine.
Anyone have any ideas on why this is not working with Apache/WAS servers?
