How do I create or add new platform Types, ServiceTypes and Server Types?

I have already collected application metrics which has host name, generated time of metrics, application name and service at a method level of metrics.

For Application Metrics Example:

I am not sure how to feed this application metrics from a Custom Java App using the Web Services API or plugin.

I was able to create a Platform but had to use a predefinedResourcePrototype like Linux. I need to use a Generic ResourcePrototype because I will not have the type of Operating System (OS) from Application Metrics. I was unable to create my specific serviceA because the Service doesn’t belong in Linux type resource. I had the same issue while creating the Server also.

What approach I can take to achieve this? Or How do I create or add new platform Types, ServiceTypes and Server Types?
