IIS VHosts - how do I monitor its log?

Hi,

On 4.6.6, Open Source Edition, I have a platform that contains an IIS 7 installation.

I can see the IIS 7, and that it has 3 Vhosts. If I change the hostheader from its IP address to its fqdn I can even monitor that it is up.

However, on the VHosts there appears to be nowhere to specify where the logs are, and Hyperic hasn't picked up the location from the definition of the parent IIS service.

The logs are stored on c:\InetPub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC*\u_exYYMMDD.log

Am I supposed to define a separate platform service to retrieve the log separately?

- If not, in which dialog do I retrieve the IIS 7 VHosts logs?

- If so, what type of platform service should I define?

Thanks,

   Martin
