I want to collect environmental metric--what should I assign as index value

I see in many examples for snmp plugins for reading  table values a index value and name.. Im trying to figure out what this is referring to so I can give it a value., name  I have a cisco ios box that I want to monitor the environmental metrics of.. Is the output below gice me the index name ?? I want to collect environmental metric--what should I assign as index value and name .. Should I use some entrry from below.. What object = should I use also from these?? Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!
