Greetings,
I've been using Hyperic HQ for over 6 months now with no problems (great product by the way!) when one day I could no longer login. I have the username and password stored in my browser, so I know I'm not typing it wrong. At first I thought ok, perhaps one other person who has access changed it, nope, they didn't either. Ok, so I'll just reset it back to default, and I followed the instructions here:
http://communities.vmware.com/thread/347170
worked like a charm, I go to login using the new default password, and no dice. Using either the new or old password I still get the following error:
" The username or password provided does not match our records."
Am I missing something? or am I just being an idiot here? I know no one changed the password, and there hasn't been any unauthorized access to the machine in question. So, what would cause this behavior? Any thoughts, suggestions, or pointing out a really simple fix are VERY welcome!
Thanks!
Mike
