Hello,
we try to implement the Hyperic High Availability architecture based on JBoss HA and EHCache distributed cache. Our version is 3.2.3 EE.
The setup of the cluster is pretty simple with the HQ High Availability Guide.
Thanks for this guide and the esayness of the feature setup!
My first question was, in the agent, which IP server should I use? I have set agents with Node 1 and others with Node 2
=> synchronization between nodes works fine.
Therefore,I have a few more questions.
1/ Can I have one unique entry point for agents with some load balancing and failover capability ?
For example, if an agent sends information to Node1 and this node crashes or the server is rebooted for maintenance purpose, the information from the agent will be lost.
2/ same question for the HQ application, can I have one unique URL entry point with some load balancing and failover capability ?
thanks for your help.
Nicolas.
